My inspiration when creating these small pieces was the detail in the

exquisite Karinska costumes I danced in for many years.

My hand-held 4x4 Mini Encaustics are to be picked up and admired from 

all angles to see the depth of texture, pattern, luminosity and color.

 I have used an accretion technique to build up the textured layers.
